BRICS Materials Science and Nanotechnology Working Group

Introduction to the Materials Science and Nanotechnology Working Group

The Materials Science and Nanotechnology Working Group has held multiple meetings across BRICS member countries, including Russia, India (virtually), Brazil, South Africa, and China. India and Russia act as coordinating countries within this working group.

The group has established a collaborative network among scientific and research institutions across BRICS countries and founded a BRICS Network Center for Materials Science and Nanotechnology to advance shared strategic and national interests.

This center leverages the capacities of leading universities and scientific institutions to train skilled human resources, promote innovation, identify priority research areas, and facilitate academic exchanges across member countries.
