China–BRICS Scientific and Technological Innovation Incubation Program

The China–BRICS Scientific and Technological Innovation Incubation Program (China-BRICS SIIP) is designed to establish a comprehensive innovation incubation system. This system integrates both physical and virtual platforms to launch a “cloud growth” platform focused on intellectual property, technology transfer, and innovation incubation services. The initiative aims to enhance bilateral and multilateral cooperation among BRICS member countries in science and innovation.

Comprehensive Service Center

The center’s comprehensive service hub acts as a multifunctional online platform, supporting a wide range of application scenarios, including:

  • BRICS Talent Lounge: Various specialized fields based on collaboration needs, scientific capacities, and priorities of BRICS member and partner countries.

Specialized Fields

These fields may include:

  • Emerging technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Nanotechnology, Biotechnology)
  • Clean and renewable energy
  • Smart agriculture and food security
  • Digital health and pharmaceuticals
  • Intelligent transportation and sustainable infrastructure
  • Digital economy and blockchain
  • Innovative education and skills development
  • Aerospace and robotics
  • Natural resources management and environmental protection

Project Showcase Hall and Online Innovation Services Platform

The center collaborates with innovation service providers, including legal offices, intellectual property institutions, entrepreneurship mentors, and international technology transfer agencies. The goal of these collaborations is to facilitate scientific and innovative interactions among BRICS countries in project-based cooperation, business engagements, and technology-to-need matching.

Additionally, the BRICS Migration Services Center has been established to ease the entry and exit processes for BRICS nationals residing in China. The China–BRICS International Advisory Committee of experts supports the center’s collaborative network in science, technology, innovation, and innovation incubation.
