In addition to the monthly online meetings mentioned earlier, the Senior Officials and Principal Focal Points of the BRICS Science, Technology and Innovation Steering Committee also hold an annual in-person meeting, which is chaired by the BRICS presidency.
The Fourteenth Meeting of the Senior Officials and Principal Focal Points of the BRICS Science, Technology and Innovation Steering Committee was held on September 26, 2024, in Moscow.
It is noteworthy that the Center of Progress and Development of the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran serves as Iran’s principal focal point in this Committee, and its representative attended the meeting.
