Review of the CESSW Project
In the field of disaster prevention and monitoring, a research team from Russia, Brazil, and India won this competition.
This project focused on the mechanism of forest fuel ignition, the physical mechanism of spark,
as well as the behavior of surface fire and crown fire. The results of this project have a significant impact
on understanding the causes of forest fires and enhancing the alerting and prediction capabilities in BRICS countries.
