BRICS Women Innovators Competition and Iran’s Participation

One of the key initiatives of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance is the organization of a competition for women-led innovative companies from member countries. The aim of this competition is to identify and promote women innovators and encourage their participation in entrepreneurial activities.

Registration and Iran’s Participation

The competition began on 14 Khordad 1403 (June 3, 2024). Following coordination by the Center for Transformation and Progress Cooperation, 22 Iranian women registered for the competition. Among 1,000 submitted projects from 30 countries, 26 projects were selected, four of which belonged to Iranian women.

Award Ceremony

The award ceremony was held on 27 Aban 1403 (November 17, 2024) during the BRICS Business Forum in Moscow. The winning Iranian women attended the ceremony in coordination with the Center for Transformation and Progress Cooperation.
