If the requested amount by a member country does not exceed
30% of the maximum support ceiling, this amount will be disbursed by the contributing countries, subject to
management approval.
If the requested amount exceeds
30% of the support ceiling, obtaining
approval from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is also mandatory.
