The BRICS Civil Forum provides a platform for members of civil society from BRICS countries and other nations to discuss citizens’ priorities in the BRICS agenda and present civil initiatives.

Main Objective of the Forum

The primary goal of this forum is to prepare a draft proposal titled “Right to Development: Equality and Justice” for future United Nations sessions and to provide policy recommendations from civil society to the BRICS country leaders. The forum operates through nine specialized working groups to develop the necessary proposals.
