The BRICS Astronomy Working Group Workshop will be held online from October 13 to 17, 2025, at the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) in São José dos Campos, near São Paulo, Brazil.
The first two days of the workshop will be dedicated to a scientific meeting, while the remaining three days will focus on BRICS Astronomy Working Group sessions and related programs, including capacity building in solar physics and training on virtual observatory tools. The scientific theme of this year’s meeting is the study of transient cosmic phenomena using multi-messenger approaches (such as light, gravitational waves, and neutrinos) across multiple wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum.
The workshop will bring together the astronomy community, including researchers, science communicators, educators, and policymakers.
