The Third Meeting of the BRICS Working Group on Geospatial Information Technologies and Their Applications was held on September 16–17, 2024, in Moscow, with the participation of representatives from BRICS member countries, including the newly admitted members.
It is noteworthy that, following the coordination efforts of the Center of Progress and Development of the Presidency of the Islamic Republic of Iran, representatives from the Iranian Space Agency were nominated and took part in the meeting.
During the event, participants shared information on the latest advancements, scientific results, and research activities in the field of space and geospatial technologies and their applications, and engaged in discussions regarding the future action plan of the Working Group.
